It takes a village…

In order to support our programs — including youth exchange scholarships, youth activities and hosting, educational events and opportunities — we fundraise all year long!

You can find us at the City of Santa Clara Street Dance, join our annual Afternoon Tea, taste Irish Nachos at the Arts & Wine Festival and more.

Youth and adult members provide all of the logistics and hands-on help at these events.

Youth Volunteers

Join us at a monthly Youth Council meeting at the Headen-Inman House (HI House).

You can also join a high school based club at either Santa Clara High School or Wilcox High School. See your school club listings for more information.

Remember, a “sister city” is not just for girls; anyone may join.

Adult Volunteers

Adult volunteers are welcome at all of our events as well as at the monthly Board Meeting. We would love to get to know you and how you can share your expertise, talent and interests.

You do not need to have a student with Sister Cities, nor do you need to be a Santa Clara resident. You will need to bring your enthusiasm for contributing to a community organization!
