Coimbra Students Visit Santa Clara 2018

While we couldn’t quite share our beautiful Californian weather with our Sister City, Coimbra, we still had a great time together. The high school aged guest students and their chaperones were able to enjoy the sights of Santa Clara and our local area. Together they visited state and local government sites, the beach, Stanford University, the fun of San Francisco, and on their last day the experience of being a local high school student!

The Youth Committee had some fun evening events together with the Coimbra students – introducing them to U.S. language, games and food. A huge thank you to our fantastic host families who welcome these students and chaperones into their homes each year.  Thank you also to all who welcomed our guests and showed off our favorite city, Santa Clara.
