Santa Clara Sister Cities
Objectives And Purposes
 

• To encourage its members to engage and participate in the Sister Cities International, known and proclaimed by the President of the United States as the "People to People Program."

• To foster and promote better and friendly relations and understanding between peoples of American communities and the people of friendly countries, cities and communities outside the United States of America.

• To acquaint such people in foreign countries with the objectives and principles of the United States of America.

• To further the economic cooperation and cultural interchange on the basis of mutual friendship between foreign communities and Santa Clara, California.
